In the event of an emergency...
"911. What is your emergency?"
"My friend just fell down the stairs and broke her leg really bad! She is bleeding heavily."
"What is your name?"
"Stacy Evans."
"Where are you located?"
"323 E. River Rd."
"OK, Stacy. We'll send an ambulance over right away."
Shortly after, an ambulance arrives on the scene and takes Stacy's friend away for immediate medical attention. If help had not been quickly administered, Stacy's friend's condition might have turned critical and/or even fatal.
Accidents like this one happen every day, which is why first on scene responders are vital to society. Their important role, however, is often overlooked or taken for granted...
